In OCEAN³ we believe that the protection of the oceans, not only a responsibility but a necessity. Our oceans are the basis of life on earth – they produce oxygen, regulate the climate and are home to an incredible diversity of species. However, pollution, Overfishing and climate change threaten this fragile Ecosystem.
It is our Mission to not only the marine habitats along the Moroccan coast to protect, but also local waters like the back of the Süderelbe in Hamburg. Rivers are the lifelines of our planet – connect the single country with the oceans, transporting nutrients and offering many animal and plant species are valuable habitats and are essential to the ecological balance. Their conservation is crucial, in order to preserve biodiversity, to protect the drinking water and to minimize the effects of pollution on marine Ecosystems.

, We organize regular Clean-ups both on beaches along the river Elbe in Hamburg. Especially in the port area and on the Banks a lot of plastic garbage that passes over the river Elbe in the North sea accumulates. Through local action and awareness, we can prevent waste from getting into the sea.

of The river Elbe is home to many species of fish and waterfowl, but pollution and Maritime transport you to. We work with scientists and fishermen to the environment and to restore from the Moroccan coast up to the river Elbe.
