In OCEAN³ we believe that the protection of the oceans, not only a responsibility but a necessity. Our oceans are the basis of life on earth – they produce oxygen, regulate the climate and are home to an incredible diversity of species. However, pollution, Overfishing, ocean acidification and climate change threaten this fragile Ecosystem.
Our Mission
It is our Mission to not only the marine habitats along the Moroccan coast to protect, but also local waters like the back of the Süderelbe in Hamburg. Rivers are the lifelines of our planet – connect the single country with the oceans, transporting nutrients and offering many animal and plant species are valuable habitats and are essential to the ecological balance. Their conservation is crucial, in order to preserve biodiversity, to protect the drinking water and to minimize the effects of pollution on marine Ecosystems.

The Moroccan coastline, which stretches over 3,500 km, and is home to a fascinating diversity of species. However, environmental problems are threatening this valuable habitat. Together with local partners and volunteers, we are committed to protect the coastal areas and sustainable change.

The Association
Our Story
The idea to OCEAN³ was born from a common passion for the protection of the seas. In the year 2024 met dedicated Environmentalists and conservationists from Germany, and Morocco in Hamburgto an Organisation to call for the specifically for the marine Ecosystems along the Moroccan coast begins.
The founder – a Team of marine biologists, activists, divers and coast guards – were unanimous: The time to Act is now! The Moroccan coasts are not only home to many sea creatures, but also essential for the local communities. However, plastic pollution, Overfishing and climate change, to put this valuable habitat is becoming stronger.
From the first beach Clean-ups on the Atlantic coast to educational programs for sustainable fisheries quickly developed OCEAN³ to a cross-border movement. The close cooperation between German and Moroccan members makes it possible local solutions with international Know-how to connect.
Today, more than a club is OCEAN³ – it is a growing community of people who actively fight for the protection of the seas. Our goal is to raise awareness for the preservation of our oceans and implement concrete actions that lead to sustainable change.
Our journey has just begun and we are happy about everyone who together with us on the future of our seas protects! 🌊💙
