It serves as an important habitat for numerous <strong>fish and plant species<\/strong>, affects the climate of the city and offering a recreational space for the people. However, <strong>rising temperatures, invasive species, pollution with Plastic and human intervention<\/strong> to set this sensitive Ecosystem is increasingly becoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With our research and environmental project &#8218;Living Elbe&#8216; we want to <strong>the current state of the water body to analyze changes in the document, and targeted protection measures to develop<\/strong>. Through regular research, we gather key data on the species diversity, water quality and environmental burdens \u2013 because it is only what we understand, we can protect effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our Focus<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\uf52c <strong>Fairs &amp; Test<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We regularly collect <strong>water samples<\/strong> and measure parameters such as <strong>temperature, oxygen content, and pollution<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Long-term measurements, we gain insights into the impact of climate change on the river Elbe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\uf41f <strong>Fish &amp; biodiversity investigate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With scientific methods, we document the <strong>inventory of native fish species<\/strong> , as well as the spread <strong>of invasive species<\/strong>, the natural biodiversity threaten.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our studies help to develop recommendations for the preservation and protection of endangered species.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u96e2 <strong>plastic waste &amp; micro plastic test<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We analyze the load on the Elbe river by <strong>plastic waste and Microplastics<\/strong>, which not only pollute the water, but also in the food chain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our research contributes to <strong>recommendations for policy and society,<\/strong> to develop, to the plastic pollution in the long term to reduce.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\uf30d <strong>Education &amp; awareness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The findings are incorporated in <strong>environmental education programs for schools and Workshops for the Public<\/strong> one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By common Clean-ups, info, events and interactive actions, we want to raise awareness for the protection of the Elbe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why this project is important <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Elbe is <strong>a living Ecosystem<\/strong>, the climate change and human impacts, strong changes of a subject.
